Things to Do

Madison has tons of events throughout the year, starting with the Bauer Park Harvest Festival, which has quickly become a community tradition. When fall rolls around, put on your cozy flannels and wool hats and take a trip down to Bauer Park. The festival has hayrides, a scarecrow building, and live music. Madison’s Summer Concert Series takes place from the beginning of July to late September and showcases local talent. Residents enjoy spreading out on the lawn with blankets, lawn chairs, and picnics. Don’t forget about the delicious Strawberry Festival, which features live music, tons of homemade jams, jellies, and cakes, and of course, fresh strawberries!

Bauer Park is an open, grassy field where many people spend their days picnicking, lounging under the sun, or enjoying a local festival taking place. Grab your bike and head on over to the Rockland Preserve Singletrack, a great place to get some exercise while enjoying nature’s wonders. Nestled along the beach, Salt Meadow Park is known for its sea breezes and sports courts.
